What is it with the general public, mainly women using the lingo that entertainers use and applying it to everyday life? For example, the word button-ups, the last time I check a button-up is a dress shirt. Due to the fact that entertainers say dress shirts were button-ups then that was new fashion and trendy word. To follow a trend only leads one to look back and say ‘What the Fuck was thinking or wearing’! This brings me to my next point and the latest trendy word used by women to describe the image of a man. SWAGG!
When did the word swagger-arrogance become the ‘in’ word? What is it my black women, all of you don’t like a man that is arrogant and the minute you find out a man is this your words are uttered, “I can’t stand his arrogant or conceited ass”! Quick English lesson those three words mean the same thing. To use Kofi’s word, DUMMY! Before you use a word make sure you know the meaning of the word. Another thing that men with swagger have a lot of women! Trying to make a man with your word “swagger” your boyfriend is equivalent of a man making a hoe a housewife. It’s not going to happen! Stop searching for dreams through music. That is part of the reason that you all come up shorter than a dwarf.
It is said that the same people that follow every trend, are hopeless and lost sheep. The thing about trends is they always change and the next trend depicted in rap songs, women will want! Very similar to dudes wearing pink, tight clothes and Mohawks please people act as an individual and then you may find a suitable mate. Men and women need to find someone that cherishes God, their family and are looking to build a strong relationship.
